Assistant Professor (tenure-track), Department of Biology, Acadia University

The Department of Biology invites applications from Indigenous Scholars in botany and conservation biology for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2022. We are searching for an outstanding scholar to address fundamental questions in plant biodiversity. A Mi’kmaw scholar is preferred but we welcome applications from all Indigenous scholars from across Turtle Island whose work complements teaching, research and community engagement in the Department of Biology. Areas of expertise may include, but are not limited to: Botany, Conservation Biology, Ecology and Traditional Ecological Knowledge.
